Expect the unexpected

How's my day? nothing really unusual.. It's very ordinary to me to have a lot of stuff like paperworks, follow-ups, reports and such.. This is my typical day at work. But a strange thing happened this afternoon when my boss called to break the big news.

I was in shock, how should i react with that news. It was really unexpected.
"I Just Got Promoted!!"

Many would say i was overreacting, but it was really unexpected. I didn't expect that they would appreciate my hardworks and actually acknowledge me for all the things i have done for the company.

Please dont get me wrong, i am not bragging or anything. I'm just proud of this little achievement of mine. Yes, I consider this an achievement, in a way it made me feel special and someone important.

Latter part of 2009, my determination towards work weakened. I was actually planning to move to other company when this news came.. and it brought back my passion to the job i have.. Now I really understand the true meaning of their so-called 'fruit of labor'...

From now on, I will strive more, I will exert my utmost effort, I will do my best and prove them that they weren't wrong in giving me this recognition.

dami ko pa palang dapat gawin bukas, sana nde ako malate.. sana magising ako ng maaga kaya para mangyari yon matutulog na ko ngayon..hahaha

• Quit smoking, or at least minimize it
• Learn how to drive
• Learn how to play a guitar
• Be more responsible
• Avoid tardiness, be punctual
• Read at least one book monthly
• Forget about my Air, Love my Yats unconditionally and above all, Love myself even more

***should i still call u my Air if youre no longer mine?? I guess I should omit the word "MY"

and rephrase it into:

holidays...

Last December 25, 2009, Christmas day, I Woke up so early coz i knew i would have a busy day ahead. And I wasn't wrong.. Many of my relatives from my father side visited us (FYI: my granma's house is just a block away from ours.) In a way, this day became a mini reunion for the Reyes Clan..

After lunch,around 2pm, we were on our way to San Juan to visit my mother's mother. She is actually based in La Union, just got here to celebrate Christmas with us.. Also, this day became a mini reunion for the Gutierrez Clan.. Everyone was present, the food was overflowing, chitchatting was everywhere, this day bonded us together And it was indeed fun.

A few hours later, I decided to treat out my two sisters, Danica and Darlene, together with my two cousins, Pearly and Pidoy, at Greenhills Shopping Center to watch a movie.. But this plan changed when we decided to go to Star City instead..

In StarCity, the place was really overcrowded. We had to patiently fall in line to get our tickets..
And as we go inside, it was more overcrowded than outside.. In every ride, everyone had to wait for 1 to 2hrs to have their turn.. But when your turn comes, the long hours of waiting is certainly worth it especially on the extremely scary rides..
We really enjoyed this part, as a matter of fact, we got home almost 3o'clock in the morning..
